Shot in New York City with Italian runner Lisa Migliorini - also known as @thefashionjogger - and cycling expert Smithley Ville from Boston, this campaign came to life in collaboration with Deutsche Telekom, as well as leading e-bike manufacturer Desiknio.
AlphaTauri partners here with electric bicycle manufacturer Desiknio, to bring functionality to iconic NYC locations. Born on the bustling streets of Granada, Desiknio shares AlphaTauri’s values and passion at providing technology-forward products, with a focus on design and quality. The latest drive and gear technology created an extremely smooth riding experience for COMMUTE stars Migliorini and Ville, complemented by their AlphaTauri functional outfits.
Smithley donned highlight products like the OBOSS packable travel blazer, paired with an elegant seam-free FECAS 3D Knit T-Shirt in Cashmere-Coolmax® and POCAS tapered trousers. Lisa sported a key look in our low-maintenance Power-Stretch-Jersey function, comprised of the JEUWAL T-shirt and PINA wide-leg trousers in Navy, as well as the FEHCA Seamless 3D Knit Cashmere Jacket in this season’s fiery Red.
In the spirit of technology, the campaign also features one of our longstanding partnerships with Deutsche Telekom, where we relaunch the heatable commuter jacket OCOMM as part of the Fashion Fusion program which aims at developing new forms of technologically enhanced fashion.
Migliorini and Ville both experienced the unisex jacket’s functionality, and our integrated heating system in particular, where strategic areas of the interior as well as the front pockets can be heated to different levels, conveniently controlled through a smartphone app. The heated commuter jacket is also windproof, water-resistant, and reflective in the dark. Additional functional details such as an adjustable and stowable hood or a fold-out extension at the back provide extra rain and wind protection, making the jacket both a lifestyle statement and a perfect cycling shield.
