After wrapping up an extraordinary AlphaTauri Autumn-Winter photoshoot in the snowy wilderness of Alaska, we caught up with Red Bull kiteboarding athletes Lasse Walker and Tom Bridge. The duo reflected on how their sport, sense of adventure, and personal style align with AlphaTauri’s vision of innovation and functionality.

For Tom, who grew up kitesurfing with his family in Exmouth, UK, kiteboarding was more than just a sport—it was a way of life. “For me, it was about being able to do whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted,” he explained. “That could mean catching the perfect wave, finding the right wind, or just having the gear that lets me do it all. It’s about staying ready for the moment.”

Lasse’s story was similar. Growing up on the Dutch coast of Noordwijk, he transitioned from windsurfing to kiteboarding in his teens and turned professional in 2015. “For me, it was about saying yes to opportunities like this,” he said, referencing the Alaska shoot. “Whether it’s riding powerful winds or shooting in freezing conditions, it’s about staying prepared and in control.”

Both athletes were drawn to AlphaTauri’s innovative approach to fashion, which blends technical performance with clean, minimal design. “When you feel good in what you’re wearing, it changes everything,” Tom said. “Even when I’m kiting, if I’m wearing something I like, it gives me confidence. It makes me want to push harder and try something new.”

Reflecting on the Alaska experience, both athletes agreed it was an adventure they wouldn’t forget. “Being out there in the snow with glaciers and mountains all around was something completely different,” Lasse said. “But that’s what our sport is about—exploring, pushing boundaries, and embracing the unknown.”
